In a world where travel is easier than ever, people thirst for meaningful cultural experiences. Wanderlust has become a common term. However, we believe individuals are not truly immersing themselves in different cultures because of commercialized tourism.

Bridging cultural gaps through community development and impact travel.

 

The solution is to bridge cultural gaps by connecting locals and travelers in a communal space.  Vecto, is similar to a collaborative work space called The Mill,  located in Wilmington, Delaware. However, Vecto offers enlightened hospitality through lodging and many other services, helping a tourist become a traveler.

Our plan is to eventually open a network of these spaces across many different countries in order to create an interconnected community of open minded, passionate, creative individuals. We expect to see results in three main areas; knowledge gained by the local and tourist participants, community impact (parks, food banks, shelters) because of service opportunities, and an “alumni” network.

 

Vecto allows curious travelers to invest in themselves through cultural immersion and appreciation, but also allows them to invest their time and skills to better the community they are visiting. Impact travel: growing as a person and helping to build a better world.
